The best is yet to come, the best is yet to be
I don't know about you, but these words ring true for me
They send a message of hope, they send a message of faith
And whenever God delivers, it will never be to late
The best is yet to come, the best is yet to be
Let me tell you a secret, come closer and listen to me
Jesus said to tell you, all your burdens He will gladly bear
If everyday you live for Him, and send praises to His ear
The best is yet to come, the best is yet to be
God promises us a life in Him, rewards us eternally
So give up those bad habits, and lay those heavy burdens down
For tomorrow promises a reward, of a mansion, a robe and a crown
